The Music Cognition Lab brings together people from different disciplinary backgrounds to ask questions about music that lie at the intersection of the humanities and the sciences. Housed in the Woolworth Center for Musical Studies, the lab supports research in the cognitive science of music, and strives to interleave sensitive humanistic insight with methods drawn from psychology and neuroscience. An emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.
